Cultivating a thriving community where worshipers are raised up in Character, Competence, and Cognitive Health.
For the past two decades, I’ve been dedicated to leading worship and guiding congregations toward deeper spiritual engagement. My experience spans a wide variety of settings, including dynamic youth camps, worship nights, college campuses, and both intimate inner-city churches and large multi-campus suburban environments. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry Leadership and an Associate of Arts in Worship Leadership from Kansas Christian College.
Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of working with numerous church communities, making meaningful contributions along the way. A key aspect of my leadership is intentional mentorship—I’ve devoted a significant portion of my career to developing individuals and helping them grow in both character and competence. My commitment to leadership development has impacted many of those I’ve worked with, leading to lasting transformations.
I am driven by a passion to inspire growth, foster excellence, and nurture meaningful relationships within worship and pastoral leadership. My mission is to create transformative content, provide valuable coaching for worship leaders and pastors, and help connect them with churches in need.
Curtis is the consummate professional. As a former worship leader myself, I know the work that it takes behind the scenes. Curtis took the time to make it seamless for the volunteer. He had charts in multiple keys, links to tutorials, and the songs tuned to the key we were singing the song, with harmonies even. No one I have ever played under has ever had that level of detail. Curtis has the patience and temperament to make you feel part of the team and is incredibly gracious in building into his volunteers. He worked really hard encouraging me to grow and leading us through his own example. One of those examples was encouraging us to learn Nashville numbers was a great way to worship without being too tied to your sheet music so you could just worship.
Curtis’s heart for coaching and developing worship leaders goes beyond what may be expected. His means to honor God and to strengthen and support others through music and song, is what grew me as a WL as I worked with him! Not only is he professional and knowledgeable, he thinks about every intricate part of worship and shares what he knows! He is for worship leaders and their craft, as it all points back to worshiping God.
When I met Curtis and proposed he help me with monthly worship leadership, he agreed and the decision to partner has been very successful." "He has provided solid leadership, seasoned capable folks
Curtis has helped me really understand what it means to lead worship. It is not just a performance, but a spiritual experience that we must do our best to facilitate. He helped me repurpose my gifts and talents to serve a higher purpose, and taught me what it looks like to commune with the spirit whilst leading others to do the same.
Curtis' commitment to approaching musical worship and worship arts with authenticity and a Christ-centered focus was a significant catalyst for my own growth in these areas. He invested his time and passion in developing me as a leader while giving me the space to practice the skills I was learning. And ultimately, he provided a purposeful and intentional example to follow through his own leadership.
“Curtis’ investment in one of our young leaders was transformative for him. He gained clarity, confidence, and practical tools to lead more effectively, but it wasn’t just about technical or practical skills. Curtis also helped him grow in his spiritual insight as a pastor. I’d highly recommend Curtis to anyone seeking to clarify or deepen their calling and impact in ministry.”
